....JY and Mandy in Wonderland part II

Hey,my fellow readers.Welcome back!As I promise last week,here's the post of more stories and pictures taken when we were in Singapore.Now,let's go!

The next day,both of us woke up early and head off to Jurong BirdPark.Took a taxi there and there we go.Its a huge bird park,MUCH bigger than the one back in Malaysia."Oops!" Anyways,we were walking towards the 'Hornbills and Toucans Exhibit'.

On the way there,we saw these really REALLY PINK spoon bills.We were really surprise to see such pinky birds in the cage....Suddenly,when we turn around....we....sAW.......

Woow~lAh!RED RED RED birds!!!...We were shock to see these bunch of RED spoon bills on the other side of the cage.Whole body of the bird is like painted red in color.NO joke!Look!Doesn't it looks like RED flowers on the trees?

More over,we went to join this 'bird chit-chat show'.We get the chance to take a picture and touch the hornbill.Lovely isn't it?Well,do you know how to differentiate between the female and the male hornbills?And do you know that hornbills have eyelashes longer than we normal humans?

Let me tell you what I've learn through the talk show.Apparently,male birds have more colors on their body than the females.Unlike humans,female dress up better than the males.Normally male birds have colorful feathers on their body to attract female birds.And once they meet their partner,they will live together forever and ever.How sweet and loving,then again unlike humans.Hehe.Oh yes,all hornbills have eyelashes.Really,Its TRUE.Don't believe me?Go check it out yourself!

After that,we went over to a place called "Lory Loft".These place has a 360 degrees elevated view of the environs and has two-tiered central feeding tower.In there,we can see all kinds of beautiful birds flying around us.Great experience walking all around.Here's some pictures taken inside there.Have a look!

These is interesting,we went into a place called "Jungle Jewels".Expect that there will be more birds to see but instead we saw something else.While we were walking at the pathway,suddenly everyone stopped and panic.We were like blur blur,continue walking.Didn't notice that there's these Couple lying beside us.Yes,is the Iguanas.When we saw them,we were shock but instead we took a picture with them.Haha.Brave?Crazy girls? *no comment*

Moving on,we went to the "Parrot paradise".Saw the "Birds and buddies show".Interesting show,enjoyed it so much.Haha.Seriously,their show is like amazing unlike in Malaysia..ahHem ahHem...bOring!Haha.After the show we went to the "Pelican Cove".Took some pictures there too.Take a look!

We head towards the 'Penguin Expedition'.Just on time to see the "penguin feeding show".

Now,here comes the "Waterfall Aviary".Its really cooling walking inside there.The waterfall is Beautiful!Well,for your information,Waterfall Aviary is the World's largest walk-in aviary with the highest man made waterfall standing at over 30 metres.No joke!

Our last stop,the World of Darkness!!*jeng jeng jeng*We walk around and we saw lots of owls.Mandy shouted when she saw these Barn owl.Haha.She said that the owl was scary.But I don't think so,cause it really looks like Wyman!Haha. *joking,wyman!*.But really,its SO CUTE!!!


We enjoyed ourselves very much in the birdpark.It was the Best birdpark that I've ever visited.Back in Malaysia,haih...disappointed!!Haha...you know what I mean...

p/s:Highly recommend all of you to visit Jurong BirdPark when you have the chance to visit Singapore.Is the only place you cannot miss.

Mandy and JinYin in Wonderland

....JinYin & Mandy in Wonderland!

Hello,my dEar readers.Welcome back to visit my blog.Oh well,one week had just passed and I'm back once again to update my blog.Sorry ya,cause during school days,I don't really have free time so I only have time to blog during the weekends.Ok,as my last post stated that my computer no longer in 'Coma' and all my Singapore trip pictures are save by Dr.Alwin.So for this post I'm gona post about the trip to Singapore.Ever heard of the movie Alice in the wonderland?Haha!Now,there's a new version which called "Jinyin and Mandy in Wonderland".
It started off like this.....

Mandy asked John and I to join her to Singapore for holiday.How come out of a sudden?Well,Aunt Bee Yuen flew off to Sydney to visit Grace for Christmas,therefore there's only Mandy and Uncle Tham.Uncle Tham had to work a day after Christmas in Singapore,he also wants the company of Mandy since is Christmas,but Mandy will be alone there cause he's working.That's why she asked us to go to accompany her while her dad's working.It's actually a last minute thing.John was suppose to join us but some how he couldn't,so in the end is just Me and Mandy.Oh yes,you must be thinking the 2 'sesat' girls alone to Singapore?It got to be kidding right?Don't worry not just you,even when we told Kai Jen about it,he shouted like a girl.He was shock that both of our fathers let us go alone by bus to Singapore.Surprise?The truth is we are both independent girls and we've proved it.Haha!Come let's start.

We took the 'Nice Express' travel bus.We reach to the station at about 10a.m.At the lounge,they served us breakfast while we are waiting for the bus.

The bus is huge and Nice,most importantly its really comfy!It has a small little T.V on every single seat.It takes 6 hours to arrive in Singapore,but I don't even realize it at all.Haha.Maybe cause I watched every single movie they played on the bus so that's why la.After 6 hours journey,we finally arrived at the custom border in Singapore where we have to transit to another bus.While waiting for another bus to arrive,Mandy saw a bus which has her initial on it.

We got so excited when we reached Singapore.Both of us went a little 'crazy and high'.Still couldn't believe the fact that we went alone by bus?Haha!Scroll down there's some more stories to read and pictures to see!

When we reached to Singapore,Uncle Tham picked us up at the station.We put our stuff and took a bath in the Apartment.After that we head off to our 1st tour which is 'Orchard Road' for dinner.We were talking about the Jen sisters,cause they were in Singapore too.Half way walking and talking,we bump into them.What a coincidence!

Took a picture with them and off we go.We meet up with my brother Jian at the station.Had dinner together at some food court.After dinner my brother brought us to walk around in Orchard Road.Here's some pictures,take a look!

Now,here's something really special.This is the Underpass along the MRT station.According to my brother this place are meant for the Hip hop Dancers and Roller Skaters to practice their movement.Cool huh?!

I love this picture.Singapore are just full of signs and wonders.

We were actually heading to City Hall.We walk through some sort of long corridor which contains full of small little kiddo's arts on the wall.Its like the whole corridor,I've never seen this kinda thingy before.Back in Malaysia,where got such thing man.

Take a closer look at the picture above,can you see something?Haha.That's my brother's company,KPMG. Look!The golden sign?What isit looks like?Any idea?Haha!It looks exactly like the building is showing 'middle finger' ya?Cool right?

There's this place outside the Orchestra Hall.A really nice place where all the couples love to go there and 'pak tor'.Even there's some people having picnic and fellowship time there too.How nice if there's a place like that back in Malaysia ya?At that moment,I missed certain someone.If only......

In each room,there's different stuff to see.There's Arts and even Scientific stuff.

We sent my brother off at the MRT station and then off we go to have some dessert.Where?At The Coffee Club!!That's the best place to eat cakes and ice creams.And its really CHEAP even if u convert the money back to RM.

The ice cream is delicious!Yummmy!You will never regret to spend money on this,cause you can't even find it back in Malaysia.Fuuh~I miss Coffee Club.

Oh well,this just our 1st day in Singapore.It just begun!Haha!

Chocolate Fondue~

....Mandy's birthday

Hello,my fellow readers!Welcome back to Crystal Clear Moments.Its been like second week of school,how is everyone doing out there?Enjoying your school life?Well,honestly I'm actually enjoying my form5 life in school.I realize something,actually its not that stress after all in form5,but is just for Now!Oh well,here's a simple post.Hope you all enjoy reading it.

Lovely cake ya?Its 'Chocolate Mud' from Secret Recipe specially for the Birthday girl,Amanda Tham.Its a surprise cake actually,she didn't think it will happen like this.Haha.Sounds familiar?

Had steamboat dinner at her house that night.Look at the tables,FULL of dishes.Delicious!Emm,Aunt BeeYuen actually ask me to take a picture of it.So yea,took it and here it is.Haha.Tadaa~

That's Melissa and Alwin.Alwin was so proud of himself that he can manage to cook an egg perfectly.Look!One whole nice and beautiful egg.Its a miracle!Not many people can do that though,even Melissa,look at her facial expression,now you know what I'm trying to say right?Impressive huh!?!

On the other hand,Timothy tried to cook the egg like Alwin but turns out to be like this.Awww...its ok,ji mui,we know you've tried your best.Try again next time alright?Haha.Maybe you can ask the expert as well.

Oh yes,she was surprise and happy that we bought her a cake.She totally didn't expect it.Aww,look at her.A real big smile on her face,it shows how happy she was that day.Thanks to Alwin,John,Tim and Tom sneak out half way to buy the cake.Haha.


Now,who can tell me what happen half way through the dinner?Oh well,nothing much.We realize that the chicken taste weird,it actually taste like Banana to me.We asked Mandy about it.She said that she marinated the chicken with some Chinese rice vine.So Melissa ask her is it the correct rice vine cause if is the real rice vine then the taste wouldn't be so strong.Mandy took out the bottle of rice vine and show all of us.Its actually 'Samsu'.And she totally has no idea with it.It is because her dad bought it and he claims that he bought the most expensive rice vine ever.Haha.So in the end,we actually ate or maybe drank 'Samsu' unintentionally that night.Funny isn't it?We are innocent though!


After knowing that we all ate or drank 'Samsu',everyone went crazy and 'kuku' a little.Tim jimui and the other guys went singing like some drunker beside streets.Its dirt funny!There even hold on to the bottle of 'Samsu' and post around in front of the camera.Oh,look at that! o.O haha!In the end,we all enjoy ourselves that night.I'm sure Mandy had lotsa fun too!



.....Chocolate Fondue at Haegen-Dazs


Have you ever try the Chocolate Fondue at Haegen-Dazs?No?Well,I can assure you,your missing something here.No matter what,you must at least go and try the Chocolate Fondue over there!Its simply irresistible!Yummmmy!Mandy,John and I went and try the other day.How come just the three of us?Well,we are the Ex-youth camp games committees.That's the gift to reward ourselves!How nice right?Oh yes!haha...

Jealous?Don't be!Why don't go and try it out yourself.Its just round the corner at 1Utama.Now let me tell you more about the chocolate fondue.The melted chocolate have 2 flavors which are the chocolate mint flavor and chocolate strawberry flavor.Around the chocolate there's chocolate ice cream,waffles,mash mallows,bananas,green apples,pineapples and salted cookie sticks.Yummy,its just lovely!

John ate the chocolate ice cream ball.The ice cream started to melt at that time,so all the ice cream balls stick together.

Typical John said :" Look!I have 2 balls!"
Without any expectation from Mandy,she shouted:"I'm sure you have!"

Haha!I didn't say anything!Was surprise that she said that!Haha!To those who don't understand this part,well,is some internal joke la!Haha!

After,we whack all the chocolate.Mandy wanted to do some experiment.Remember the experiment in the Form2 syllabus last chapter about Heat?Ah yes,she wanted to see how long it takes for the heat to transfer through the spoon to her hand.No long later,something went wrong.When she turn her spoon,just like the picture,the back of the spoon turns black.She was like "wuu,wuu,omg,hide it!hide it!".Haha.Typical Mandy la!

We did call some people to join us for dinner but turns out that those who confirm can go is just the three of us.So Mandy suggested to watch the latest movie "Game Plan".You must be thinking how can we get the tickets on the public holiday?Haha.At 1st,when we saw the long queue,we actually wanted to 'patah balik',but John had a plan.He ask us to call and book the tickets.Cheating ya?Haha!Mandy call at 1st and she didn't know that there's something call reservation number.We went to the counter and gave her hp number instead but declined.In the end,I was the one who got the best seats and the tickets.Lucky ya?Wee....

After the movie,was suppose to eat our dinner but we bump into Kai Jen and family.Stop by and chat until 10pm.By the time we went to the restoran,the kitchen close.So we end up eating at Pirates nearby my place.

Haha!Mandy in a Sony Mp3?Haha!Looks familiar ya the poster?Some where in 1utama,find it yourself!Haha!She enjoy posting but there's an old man behind me,thought that we went a little bit crazy.Haha!He had the 'look' on his face man!Scary!Besides that,John actually forgot to take the parking ticket after he paid.Lucky thing was,a 'bubbly' man took it and gave it to us.Fuuh~Or else,we will be stuck in 1Utama forever!!!

They went over to my house to eat ice cream potong.They didn't expect that the ice cream potong is so MINI!Haha!Both of them ate 2 instead.Mini ice cream potong!Cute?Want some?I have a lot at home.Just drop by my house and you will get it for FREE!


Well,I should end this post with this picture.My piano is on this platform thingy which looks like a stage.She love the stage so much!Is not exactly a stage la...but there's light at the bottom.So yea,took a picture of her sitting like some....erm.....a......erm.....*speechless*...Haha!
Oh well,that's all I can update for now!Stay tune for more!

Good news!My computer is no longer in 'COMA'.Thanks to Dr.Alwin.He did some magic trick and miracle happen!He manage to get all my Singapore trip pictures out of the computer!Yahoo!Thanks to Dr.Dansen too to help me reinstall everything and now my computer will soon be back!Yay!
